I did a much-needed studio clean-out and uncovered a number of sketches, studies, works on paper, and pieces from earlier collections. These pieces span different seasons of my practice and offer a glimpse into the ideas, marks, and compositions that happen before a finished piece. Some of these are studies that eventually informed paintings. Some were experiments that never became anything. Rather than let them continue to live tucked away in drawers and portfolios, I'm giving them a new home.
